The enclosure is used to protect the battery,  solar controller, and other ancillary equipment. Protection from the natural elements is essential for the preservation and long life of the system components. Fabricated from aluminum, these enclosures are robustly constructed for real world conditions.

The two compartment enclosures feature an airtight NEMA 4-type compartment for the electronics and other environmentally sensitive equipment and a NEMA 3R-type compartment for the battery, solar controller, and related power equipment.

Insulation and low wattage heat strips can be installed to protect the batteries from the harmful effects of cold weather. Pre-wiring included with any complete system purchased.
